You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model, that makes the existing model obsolete.
— R. Buckminster Fuller

I established Rubi Wellness with the mission to help people overcome chronic diseases using nutrition and lifestyle coaching.

With knowledge gained through my journey towards health and trained as a dietitian, my goal is to offer sustainable strategies for managing and overcoming chronic diseases. Through comprehensive education, I guide each client towards stronger immunity and a more balanced state, one bite at a time and one habit at a time.

My story began as I encountered the limitations of allopathic medicine firsthand through my experience with chronic migraines. I discovered that the standard approach was hyper focused on treating symptoms through medications, an approach that not only did not work, but further deteriorated my health.  Over the course of several years, I became stuck in vicious cycles of severe chronic pain and an overall state of helplessness.

Eventually, frustration led to a personal revolution and the discovery of natural health approaches which resulted in a total health transformation. This journey towards health led to my newfound passion for food, its powerful nutritional and medicinal values, and the role it plays in health and disease.

Over the past fifteen years I have investigated the interaction between nutrition, psychology, and physical activity, and how this interaction manifests itself in the body and how it affects overall health and well being. Read more about my story in Healthmonitor Magazine's migraine issue.

I continue to be astounded by the over-reliance on medications and surgeries for chronic diseases that can be treated through a comprehensive natural therapy approach, and a powerlessness that comes with the absence of the self from a state of health or disease.

My mission has become to urge & inspire a paradigm shift rooted in the mindset that health is possible, to empower others to trust their own strength and resilience, and to provide them with tools to become active participants in their health expression.
